Amazon.com, Inc.(NASDAQ:AMZN) has launched its video streaming services thus warming up against its competitor in the field Netflix, Inc.(NASDAQ:NFLX) .The company has started offering video streaming services to users on subscription under monthly fee plan under Amazon Prime. 

Video streaming services serves as a basic entertainment for every age group and with more supportability on new mobiles and implementation of 3G / 4G technologies it is the most popular time passing and learning hobby.

Beside yearly membership package of $79, already available for members, the company will be charging a monthly fee of $7.99 from its subscribers for online video streaming services

Amazon has to put a little more efforts as comparison to Netflix which has huge data network and library of TV shows and movies and has already expertise in the field. 

Presently, Amazon has a library of over 25,000 titles and recently  it also entered into a content acquisition deal with EPIX for movies 'The Avengers' 'Iron Man 2' and 'The Hunger Games'.
